How Vireo Video Helped Exabeam rank on Google and YouTube for their most Valuable Search Terms

Exabeam is a cybersecurity company that helps security teams work smarter, allowing them to detect, investigate and respond to cyberattacks in 51 percent less time. They approached Vireo with a task to grow their YouTube channel that had been active so far, but not growing at the rate they desired.

Results

During the 10 months of our collaboration we increased the watch time by 753%, views by 286%, impressions by 564% and subscribers by 611%. Exabeam YouTube channel grew to 1k subscribers in 6 months’ time from 200, and became a YouTube partner.

Context

Exabeam is a cybersecurity company that helps security teams work smarter, allowing them to detect, investigate and respond to cyberattacks in 51 percent less time. They approached Vireo with a task to grow their YouTube channel that had been active so far, but not growing at the rate they desired.

Pain Point

The challenge for Exabeam was to grow their channel and rank videos on Google and YouTube within a saturated market. They also weren’t a YouTube partner at the time, and so they couldn’t have outbound links to their website.

Solution

Vireo Video started with Exabeam by creating a Video Content Strategy Blueprint for Exabeam, recommending specific video content around the most searched and valuable terms within the cybersecurity field on both YouTube and Google.

 

To grow the channel we advised on improving the Thumbnails for clickability, metadata optimizations, and influencer campaigns to bring in their target audience from other channels.

 

We created a new set of design elements to be used on the channel, for thumbnails, channel art, in video call to actions, endscreens and more.

 

The channel overall look is now unified to the brand guidelines, with redesigned Thumbnails that have drastically increased the clickthrough rate, and thus views.

We also researched keywords for successful video ideas and organized the schedule for weekly uploads.

 

Once we had this in order, we also reoptimized the existing content and optimized new releases to maximize the organic growth.

 

As reaching 1000 subscribers was a priority for the YouTube partnership program, we suggested verbal CTA’s to Subscribe and implemented CTA graphics assets and YouTube features to support this.

 

We also provide Exabeam with a cost effective video editing service for their full videos.

Results

Several videos for key terms are ranking both on Google and YouTube for many #1 and #2 spots outranking old competitor videos that had previously ranked. (Example below: “SIEM”, “What is SIEM?”).
